LILLIE MAE WATTS, 92, of Walton Hills, Ohio, formerly of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2016. She was born July 29, 1924 in Wayne County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Hezekiah and Rose Davis. Her husband Franklin Watts also preceded her in death, along with two daughters, Phyllis Carol Graham, and Julia Faye Edburg; one son Thomas Franklin Watts; one granddaughter, Susan Bilek, one grandson, Richard Valler, Jr.; three brothers, Claude Davis, Dewey Davis, and Fred Davis; and two sisters, Lucille Taylor and Ruby Spence.
Lillie was a homemaker who loved quilting, and the oldest member of Laurel Freewill Baptist Church in Wayne.
She leaves behind two daughters, Ruth Ann (Richard) Valler of Walton Hills, Oh., and Ada Rose Stadlhofer of Wayne; four sons, David Watts of Garfield Heights, Oh., Kenneth (Linda) Watts of Hamlin, W.Va., Larry Watts of Gainesville, Fla., and Charles (Chris) Watts of Mich.; 25 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; special friend Doris Steele of East Lynn, W.Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Laurel Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Casteel officiating. Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Watts family.
