MELISSA DAWN STANLEY, 40, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 1, 2016.  She was born November 24, 1975, the beloved daughter of the late Charles Albert Porter of East Lynn, W.Va., and Priscilla Ann Mosher of Roma, Texas.  Also preceding her in death were paternal grandparents, Alberta and Norma Porter; maternal grandparents, Alonzo and Odilia Munguia

            Survivors include two cherished daughters, Emilee Noelle Stanley and Olivia June Stanley; one sister, Leanna Porter; brother-in-law, Timothy Wiley, all of East Lynn; and many aunts, uncles, close friends and family.

            Melissa was truly the best of people.  To know her was to feel the purest form of love, unjudged, only accepted.  She was a beautiful, smart, honest, caring and empathetic soul.  Easily loved as she always seized any opportunity to smile and bring her light and laughter to those fortunate enough to know her.

            Melissa always was the very best and devoted daughter, mother sister, friend, or companion.  For every bond she formed was genuine and lasting.  However, it was the eternal bond of motherhood that her light shined brightest.  It always brought out the best in her, as her children are the best of her.  How blessed we were to witness and be touched by such a miracle of life.

            It was a privilege to know and be known by a woman so beautiful.  One so loved, she could never be forgotten, only missed every moment.

            Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Jones Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
