MYRTLE FAY FLINT, 83, of Wayne, W.Va., went to sleep in Christ on Thursday, April 5, 2018. She was born April 4, 1935 at Logan, W.Va., a daughter of the late Tracy and Anna Belle Pack. Also preceding her in death were her twin brother, infant siblings Betty and Larry, and brothers and sisters, Wanda Jean Pack, Nancy Pack, Dorkis Marshall, Wilkie Pack, and L.C. Pack; and her daughter-in-law, Alberta Flint. Myrtle was a housewife and a devoted caregiver to many family members, and also, a member of Echo United Baptist Church.
She leaves behind her husband, Bill Flint; one son, Kevin Flint (Missie Adkins) of Wayne; grandchildren, Chasiti (Dustin) Ervin of Lavalette, W.Va., and Cala (Tony) Clay of Wayne; and one great grandchild, Bennett Ervin.
Also surviving is one brother, Delbert (Wanda) Pack; one sister, Maltie Javins; one brother-in-law, Gene Marshall; one sister-in-law, Sharrie Pack, all of Wayne; special cousin Veda Maynard of St. Albans, W.Va.,; and nieces, nephews, friends, and family too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elders Tony Clay and Roger Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at Greasy Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
