ZEA ALENE NOLEN, 81, of Genoa , W.Va. , went to her heavenly home Thursday, September 7, 2017.  She was born April 4, 1936 at Fort Gay , W.Va. , a daughter of the late Jarrett and Armilda Parsons.  Her husband James Nolen also preceded her in death along with five sisters Emma Drummond, Ann Rickman, Ruby Holland, Lutie Davis and Gladys Robertson, and three brothers S.J. Parsons, Clarence “Buck” Parsons, and Herbert Parsons.  Zea was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church .
Survivors include three children,  Connie (Bill) Talbert of Wayne, W.Va., Mary Ann (Ron) Stone of Huntington, W.Va., and Jim (Linda) Nolen of Belpre, Ohio;  grandchildren,  James (Susan) Perry of Genoa, Tammy (Jim) Chafin also of Genoa, Jessica (Sam) Leep of East Lynn, W.Va., Jason (Lindsey) Pridemore of Wayne, Ryan Nolen of New Brunswick, N.J., Michele (Tom) Perry of Wayne, and Brian (Jennifer) Talbert of New Hartford, W.Va.; and great grandchildren Peyton Perry, Taylor Chafin, Keleigh Chafin, Hayden Leep, and Gavin Leep.
            Also surviving is one sister, Irene Rowe of Huntington ; special caregivers, Larry Robertson and Peggy Thierry; and a host of special nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family too numerous to mention.  The family would like to thank Dr. Brownfield, Hospice of Wayne, and the many caregivers for their love and kindness over the last months.
            Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Dillon officiating.  Burial will follow at the Parsons Cemetery .  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
