CASA PERRY, 83, of Wayne, W.Va., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Born January 6, 1936 at Perry Ridge, Dunlow, W.Va. he was a member of Echo United Baptist Church. Casa was the caregiver of his late parents, Nathan and Sarah Bell Perry. Also preceding him in death were seven brothers and sisters, twins Thomas and Alice Perry, Harrison Perry, Anna Mae Perry, Henry Perry, Allen Perry, and Emma Mae Perry Hundley; five nephews, Carl Perry Jr., David Lee Eslick, Hobert M. “Hoby” Hundley, Ricky Perry, and Matthew Perry; one niece, Lona Rhodes; one great niece, Jennifer Renee Eslick, and great nephew John Hundley .
Survivors include four sisters, Jannivee Eslick Copley, Fran Burnette, both of Dunlow, W.Va., Loraine “Lou” Hampton of Kitts Hill, Oh., and Hattie Lucas of Youngstown, Fla.; four brothers, Frank Perry of Huntington, Joe (Bessie) Perry of Wayne, Carl (Charmy) Perry of Parma, Oh., and Jessie (Carole) Perry of Mentor, Oh.; many dear nieces and nephews; and his many friends at Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he resided for 10 years.
Casa treasured the Lord Jesus as well as his family and will be sorely missed.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elders Tommy Damron and Roger Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the William Perry Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
