FILLMORE ELLIOTT, 84, of Genoa, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 9, 2018. He was born January 19, 1934 at Dunlow, W.Va., a son of the late Millard and Vada Elliott. Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Charles Elliott, Harvey Elliott, and Albert Elliott, and two sisters, Rowena Kirk and Bertha Branham.
Fillmore worked for Wayne Lumber Company for nearly 30 years and was a member of the Echo United Baptist Church at Genoa.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Anna Elliott; three sons, Keith (Bri) Elliott of Hurricane, W.Va., Rodney Elliott of Wayne, W.Va., and Randy (Gina) Elliott of Ona, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Randy (Kaitlyn) Elliott, Jake Elliott Austin Elliott, Eric Hundley, Briana Marcum, and Kyla Elliott, all of Wayne; and four great grandchildren, Axel, Easton, Ariel, and Slade. Also surviving is one brother, Elijah (Pat) Elliott of Cleveland, Oh.; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elders Roger Maynard, Tommy Damron, and Tony Clay officiating. Burial will follow at the Crabtree Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
