FRANK EDWARD WILLIAMSON, 71, of Wilsondale, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at home. He was born July 31, 1946 at Dunlow, W.Va., a son of the late Ira and Roxie Williamson. Also preceding him in death were two sisters, Kathy Williamson Smith and Virginia Hazel Williamson; three brothers, Ira “Buck” Williamson, Steve Williamson, and Larry Williamson; and his step mother Minnie “Tiny” Adkins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Pearl Spaulding Williamson; four brothers, David Lark (Wanda) Williamson of Wilsondale, Arthur Lee (Geraldine) Williamson of Wilsondale, Bill (Marian) Williamson of North Carolina, and Rick (Angela) Williamson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; six sisters, Brookie Williamson Brewer of Wilsondale, Vickie (Greg) Ramey of Crum, W.Va., Tammy Williamson of Kermit, W.Va., Dorothy (Rob) Leroy of Kansas City, Missouri, Mary Williamson Chapman of Panama, Fla., and Dianna Williamson of Huntington, W.Va.; and dozens of beloved nieces and nephews, including special niece and caregiver, Deborah Spaulding.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Turkey Creek United Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Pastor Emanuel Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at the Tom Maynard Cemetery on Kelly Knob at Wilsondale. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. Friday until service time on Saturday.
