James Michael Stephens

JAMES MICHAEL STEPHENS, 67, of Raymond, Oh., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 2, 2018.  He was born February 24, 1951 in Wayne W.Va., a son of the late George and Violet Stephens. Also preceding him in death were four sisters Glenna Williams, Diane Lambert, Delores Parsley, Beverly Watts, and four brothers Donald, Rick, Argene, and Charlie Stephens.

            He leaves behind his loving wife Donna Stephens; one daughter, Christina (Todd) Mills of Proctorville, Oh.; one son, James Stephens, Jr. of Huntington, W.Va.; three step-daughters, Tonya Mendoza of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Carrie Mendoza of Bellefountaine, Oh., and Amanda Mendoza of Columbus, Oh.; and one granddaughter, Shian Locklear of Raymond, Oh.

            Also surviving are two sisters, Joyce Jones of Huntington and Helen Weber of Columbus; five brothers, Dallas Stephens, Paul Stephens, Adolphus Stephens, Raymond Stephens, and Silas Stephens, all of Wayne; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family too numerous to mention.

            Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the New Beginning Apostolic Church, 1002 25th Street, Huntington, W.Va. with Pastor Todd Mills officiating.  Burial will follow at the Stephens Cemetery.  Friends may call from noon till service time Thursday at the church.  Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Stephens family.
