JENEDA STEPHENS PAULEY, 88, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018. She was a member of the Laurel Free Will Baptist Church, and known for the love she had for her children and her vibrant rose garden. She was born May 2, 1930, the daughter of the late Ode and Bessie Stephens. Her loving husband of 56 years Emmit Pauley, Jr. also preceded her in death along with twin brothers Albert and Arthur Stephens, and brother-in-law Dennis Pauley.
Survived by two brothers Wayne (Sharon) Stephens of Ravenswood, W.Va. and Claude (Jean) Hale of Hartford, W.Va.; three sisters Elizabeth Pauley of Sevierville, Tenn., Hazel Avery of Paintsville, Ky., and Alva Hale of Columbus, Oh.; two sons Leonard (Joyce) Pauley and Dennis Pauley; two grandchildren Keith Pauley and Renee Pauley; three great grandchildren Kelsey Runyon, Brittany Pauley, and Bailey Pauley, all of Wayne. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Rev. Luther Dingess officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
