JESSE MATTHEW DINGESS, 63, of Genoa, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2019. Born December 16, 1955 in Columbus, Oh., Jesse was a retired coal miner and a member of New beginnings Church, Ft. Gay. His wife Lorene Dingess preceded him in death along with his mother, Rose Messer Aldridge and one brother Tyler Dingess.
Survivors include his father, Ollie (Lou) Dingess of Hold, Ky.; two daughters, Jessica (Robert) Carroll of genoa, and Christina (Mickey) Burnette of Lavalette, W.Va.; one son Matt (Tabatha) Dingess of Genoa; grandchildren Nathan Marshall, Cassidy Carroll, of Genoa, Casey Marshall of Wayne, Kayla (Justin) Ellison of South Point, Oh., Tyler Sizemore of Genoa, Robbie (Laurel) Carroll of Genoa, Dylan Burnette of Wayne, and David Dingess of Genoa; great grandchildren Madison Carroll, Kylee Ellison, and Tucker Ellison.
Also surviving are two sisters, Linda (Jimmy) Little of Wayne, and Nora Johnson of Belle, W.Va.; brothers Albert (Sharon) Dingess of Lovely, Ky., John (Carol) Dingess of Crum, W.Va., James (Diane) Dingess of Wayne, Roger Dingess of Crum, Christopher (Janeill) Dingess of Hold, Ky., and Lester (Tammy) Marcum of Columbus; special friends Jason Meddings, Elmer Mullins, and Michael Starkweather; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to mention. A special thanks to Linda Little for opening her home to family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday June 2, 2019 at New Beginnings Church at 1 p.m., with Brother Ken Allen officiating. Burial will follow at the Dingess Family Cemetery, Genoa, WV. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
