JIMMY LEE BERRY, 48, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord and be reunited with his dad in the “big truck” on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Born September 22, 1970 in Chicago, Ill., Jimmy was a mechanic and a member of the Gospel Tabernacle, Wayne. His father John Berry Jr., and Vinson Neace preceded him in death.
He leaves behind his mother, Pearlie Berry of Huntington; two sisters, Bonnie Berry of Wayne, and Jeannie (John) Manns, also of Wayne; brothers, David (Sherry) Berry of Greenup, Ky., Willie Berry of Milton, Bobby (Freda) Berry of Pratt, W.Va., Charles Berry of Huntington, and John (Jessica) Berry, Jr. of Milton, along with John (Joan) Berry of Gloucester, Va.; one son, Jimmie Lee Berry, Jr. of Wayne; special niece and nephew Kaylee Berry and Cody Crabtree; girlfriend Keragan White; and special friends Betty Adkins, Dale Crabtree, Debbie Maynard, Donna Napier, Jessica Berry, Kevin Neace, John Neace, Jeannie Manns, Connie Spence, Ruth Fridley, and Lynetta Wilcoxen, Kim McSweeney Burns, Alma Grubb, Diane (and the late Robert) Merchant, and the late Darius Adkins; along with many other dear friends and family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Gospel Tabernacle, Wayne. Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Berry family.
