Sister LEOLA FINLEY, 71, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 8, 2017.  She was born December 25, 1945 at Holden, W.Va., a daughter of the late Wayne and Lura Frazier Runyon.  Two brothers, Larry Runyon and Wayne Runyon also preceded her in death.  Leola was a 1963 graduate of Guyan Valley High School and a member of Salem United Baptist Church.

            She leaves behind her husband of 49 years and love of her life, Walter Roy “Bo Bo” Finley; her children Angela Finley, Debra Finley, Glenna (Shane) Ramsey, all of Chicago, Ill., and Walter Roy Finley, Jr., of Huntington; eight grandchildren, Jocelyn Andino, Kailee Nelson, Brandon Andino, Nicholas Finley, Kamryn Finley, Kalen Finley, Brooke Ramsey, and Avery Ramsey; and one great granddaughter, Kennedy.

Also surviving is her stepmother, Juanita Runyon of Chapmanville, W.Va.; five sisters, Sylvia (Ronnie) Huybert of Greenville, W.Va., Maudie Isaacs of Huntington, Carol (Philip) Adkins of Cove Gap, W.Va., Genoa (Harold) Keithley of Florida and Tami Jo (Michael) Vance of Lake, W.Va.; and nieces, nephews, family, and friends too numerous to mention.  The family would like to thank Cabell Huntington Hospital, Hospice of Huntington, and all the great caregivers at Heritage Center for their love.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elder Roger Maynard and Brother Clifford Napier officiating.  Burial will follow at Community Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 till 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
