ROY CUMBERLAND CLARK, 67, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019 at his home. He was born February 4, 1952 at Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Ellison and Mary Bell Clark. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Forest Clark, and Rocky Clark; one sister Pina Jean Clark; one daughter, Tammy Clark; two grandsons, Leo Steele and Roy Steele; and aunt Alice Sue Finley. Roy was a U. S. veteran and was formerly employed at A.C. & F. Manufacturing.
He leaves behind four sons, Bobby (Tisha) Steele of Dunlow, Roy Ellison (Tasha) Steele of East Lynn, Matthew (Amanda) Steele of Genoa, and Daniel (Michelle) Steele of Wayne; three daughters, Brenda Clark of Akron, Oh., Wendy Bundy of Huntington, and Pamela Steele (Larry Marcum) of Kenova, W.Va.; 18 grandchildren, Jared, Kaleb, Caleb, Corey, Devin, Keira, Kaylie, Addy, Larry, Julie, Jessie, Trey, Corbin, Lilly, Matthew, Kaden, Aubrea, and Chloe; and one great granddaughter, Aria Steele.
Also surviving are four brothers, Ellison “Butch” Clark of Huntington, Fletcher “Tiny” (Linda) Clark of East Lynn, Michael Clark of Kenova, and Keith Clark of East Lynn; two sisters, Sheila Clark (Roy Cassidy) of East Lynn, and Darlene Tomblin of Kentucky; along with nieces, nephews, family, and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
