ALFREEDA BLEVINS, 87, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 25, 2016.  She was born July 21, 1929 at Monaville, W.Va., a daughter of the late George Hollie Hale and Mable Fry Hale.  Also preceding her in death was an infant son, George Alfred Blevins, four brothers, Walter, Elbert, Donald, and Kenneth Hale, and one sister, Wanda Merritt.

She leaves behind one daughter, Sandra (Carl) Mills of Wayne; three sons, Larry Blevins of Wayne, Buster (Patti) Blevins, Jr., of South Point, Oh., and Kenneth (Donna) Blevins of Wayne; nine grandchildren, Kimberly Mills, Erica Damron, Amanda McClure, Kent Blevins, Andrea McCallister, Jordan Blevins, Megan Evans, Hannah Pack, and Blake Schroder; and 11 great grandchildren, Madison, Matthew, Caitlyn, Josilyn, Abram, Ellah, Daniel, Avah, Jenah, Maxton, and Draven.

Also surviving is one brother, Charles Hale of Lincoln Park, Mich.; three sisters, Charlotte Fraley of Doylestown, Oh., Jewel Dodge of Gahanna, Oh., and Betty (Virgil) Cyrus of Sterling, Oh.; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Emual Adkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.  Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
