ARLAND R. COLEGROVE, 61, of Genoa, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.  He was born August 29, 1954 n Mingo County, West Virginia, a son of the late Carson and Margie Newsome Colegrove.  His maternal grandparents Walter and Mae Newsome also preceded him in death, along with one sister, Pamela Colegrove, and one nephew, D.J. Colegrove.

Arland was a former pastor of New Beginnings Church at Ft. Gay Road.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Donna Perry Colegrove; one son, Alvin (Keyona) Newsome of Genoa; and three granddaughters, Kacey, Baylei, and Savannah.

Also surviving are six sisters, Linda (Wirt) Brumfield of Delbarton, W.Va., Diana (Tennis) Vance of Chapmanville, W.Va., Dena Colegrove of Lenore, W.Va., Shirley Colegrove of Cincinnati, Ohio, Teresa (David) Dempsey of Richwood, Ohio, and Shannon (Ronnie) Hall also of Lenore; five brothers, Danny Joe (Drema) Colgrove of Hindman, Ky., Jerry (Dianna) Colegrove, Dennis Colegrove, Ricky (Kim) Colegrove, and Matt (Tammy) Colegrove, all of Lenore; one uncle who was like a brother, Harlan Newsome; two aunts, Nora Sheppherd of Lenore, and Hazel Hall of Delbarton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to mention.

A celebration of his life will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at Victory Christian Center at Lenore with Brother Ricky Colegrove officiating.  At Arland's request, no flowers please.  Johnson Tiller Funeral home is honored to serve the Colegrove family.
