Loving wife, mother, and grandmother, BEATRICE CLAY, 72, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 after a long fight with cancer.   She was born March 31, 1948 in Wayne County, W.Va., and was a homemaker.  Preceding her in death was her husband Clifford "Jake" Clay; and her mother, Carrie Casteele Poindexter.

She is survived by her family who meant everything to her, including her son, Jason Clay and his wife Heather; her daughter, Stafonya Pinson; two grandsons, Jacob Pinson and Alan Clay; along with one sister, Ermy Adkins.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Clay Parsons Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at noon.  In lieu of flowers, donations to assist the family with final expenses are appreciated and can be made by selecting the "Donations" tab above.
