BERTHA ELIZABETH KIRK, 72, of Huntington, W.Va., formerly of East Lynn, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2018. She was born on October 10, 1946 in Springfield, W.Va., a daughter of the late Henry and Shirley Cooley. Her husband, Aubrey Kirk, also preceded her in death, along with one son Rodger Miller; two brothers, Larry Cooley and Bobby Cooley; and two sisters Brenda Cooley and Shirley Cooley.

Survivors include one son Carl Cooley of Huntington, W.Va.; one daughter Shirley Tanner of Huntington, W.Va.; two brothers Tommy (Pat) Cooley of Pennsylvania, and Andy Cooley of Welch, W.Va.; one nephew Ray Cooley of East Lynn; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, family, and neighbors too numerous to mention.

Private services will be held for the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
