BETTY JEAN MILLER, 83, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 8, 2021.  She was born September 18, 1937, a daughter of the late Brad and Mauda Mathis.  Her husband Richard K. Miller, Sr. also preceded her in death along with one son, Richard K. Miller, Jr., and one infant granddaughter, Peyton Miller.  Betty was a member of Antioch Old Regular Baptist Church in Wayne.

Survivors include two children, John (Kristi) Miller, with whom she made her home, and Linda Miller, of Huntington; one daughter-in-law, Kimberly Scott Miller; 10 grandchildren, Sara Catron, Jessie Courts, Joshua Wyrick, Andie Miller, Cristana Miller, Aimee Jackson, Randi Miller, Scottie Miller, Danielle McQuaid, and Evan Miller; and numerous beloved great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers, Art (Maryann) Mathis of Wayne, and James Mathis; one sister, Fannie (Gary) Murray, all of Huntington; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

A special thank you is given to Sara Catron and her son Brayden, as well as Hospice of Huntington for their support and care.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Elder Art Mathis officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mathis Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
