BILLY JOE FARMER, 54, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016.  He was born September 19, 1961 in Lincoln County, W.Va., a son of Ilena Clay (Eldon) Perry of East Lynn, W.Va., and the late Billy Wade Farmer.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children, Jamie Messer of Ceredo, W.Va., and Billy Joe Farmer Jr. of Charleston, W.Va.; and five grandchildren, Dylan, Autumn, Mitchell, Dalton, and Michael.  Also surviving is one brother, David (Sharon) Farmer of Wayne; two sisters, Cheryl (Joe) Buza of Dearborn Heights, Mich., and Cathy Walker of Wayne; special aunt Betty Adkins of Chesapeake, Oh.; and nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with.  Burial will follow in the Perry Cemetery.  Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
