Heaven gained one of the kindest, gentlest souls: BOBBY DEAN JERVIS, 77, of Wayne, WV, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the VA Medical Center.  He was born February 14, 1941 at Dunlow, WV, a son of the late George and Lou Emma Jervis.  Also preceding him in death were two brothers Ray Jervis and Jay Jervis, and one sister, Ora Smith.  Bobby was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of Canada Chapel.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Seay Jervis; two sons, Brian (Michelle) Jervis of Hurricane, WV, and Jeffery Jervis of Wayne; and four grandchildren, Ashley Jervis of Huntington, WV, Kyle Jervis, Kate Jervis, and Emma Jervis, all of Hurricane.  Also surviving are two brothers, Jack (Edith) Jervis of Lavalette, WV, and William "Wad" Jervis of Dunlow; one sister, Lenora Maynard of Jackson, OH; sister-in-law, Mary Kathryn Jervis of Wayne; and a host of special nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Jackson and Evangelist Paul Michael Booth officiating.  Burial will follow at the Robertson Cemetery with military honors performed by the American Legion Post 93.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
