BRANDON ALBERT QUEEN, 53, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at UK Good Samaritan Hospital. Born November 21, 1972, in Huntington, W.Va., Brandon graduated from Wayne High School, attended Marshall University, where he played baseball, and worked as an asset coordinator for the Huntington Sanitary Board. He loved racing, riding side-by-sides, spending time with his boys, coaching, hunting, and all things outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his father King Queen; paternal grandparents Albert and Artie Queen; maternal grandparents Homer and Lillian Keesee; uncles, Doliver (Margie) Queen, Abby (Estell) Queen; and aunts Armilda Church, Miriam (Earnest) Burchett, and Nancy (Harry) Atchison.

Survivors include his mother, Bettina Queen; two beloved sons, Brayden Queen and Brycen Queen, all of Wayne; two uncles Gary (Sherry) Pritchard of Easy Lynn, W.Va., and Wiley (Barbara) Queen of Louisa, Ky.; special cousins who were like siblings, Mark Queen, Amanda Hanshaw, Christiana Wenning, Duane Combs, Gary Queen, Missy Queen, Craig Pettit, Heather Miller, Erin Kyanko, Joann Foreman, Kevin Humble, Greg Humble, Sam Queen, and Laura Queen; as well as a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
