CARLOS WINFORD MAYNARD, 74, of Ft. Gay, W.Va., passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center.  He was born December 13, 1942 at Dunlow, W.Va., a son of the late Jimmy and Garnett Maynard.  His brother Howard Maynard also preceded him in death, along with one grandson, Aaron Keith Maynard, and one nephew, Philip Maynard.  Carlos was retired from Gallagher Ford in Huntington.

He leaves behind two sons, Carlos (Kimberly) Maynard, Jr., of Huntington, and Brian Maynard of Ft. Gay; three grandchildren, Shane Bailey, Shelby Scarberry, and Carlos "C.J." Maynard III; and four great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is one sister, Judy Lewis of Ft. Gay; one brother Garland (Dorcas) Maynard of Wayne; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Maynard Lewis Cemetery, Ft. Gay.  Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
