Beloved mother and grandmother, CAROLYNN JEAN HALL, 72, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 23, 2019.  She was born June 17, 1946 at Wayne, a daughter of the late Basil and Aretta Maynard Adkins.  Her husband, Edgar Hall, also preceded her in death, along with her sister-in-law, Nancy Adkins.  Carolynn was a member of Echo United Baptist Church since 1975, and also attended Salem United Baptist Church.

She leaves behind her three children, Renee Hall of Barboursville, W.Va., Edgar R. Hall, II (Jeffery Caudill) of Ashland, Ky., and Dale (Missy) Hall of South Point, Oh.; and two grandchildren, Tayler Hall and Tanner Hall of South Point.

Also surviving are brothers, James (Donna) Adkins and Ronnie Adkins, of Wayne; one sister, Peggy (Randy) Carson of Richmond, Va.; several nieces, nephews; and many friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Leigh Allen and Jenny at St. Mary's Medical Center, as well as the staff of Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation and Hospice of Huntington for their special care and love.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Maynard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Patrick Creek Cemetery, Genoa, W.Va.  Visitation will begin at noon at the funeral home.  Donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
