CHARLES D. "CHUCK" BLANKENSHIP, 48, of Wayne W.Va. passed away on September 19, 2018. He was born June 23, 1970 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Jennings and Ilene Blankenship, and worked as a mechanic.

He is survived by his loving companion Janice Parsons; daughters Meletha Blankenship, and Laressa Blankenship; a son Charles Jackson Lee Blankenship; one brother Dwayne (Valerie) Blankenship, all of Wayne; step-son Billy Ray (Meghan) Parsons of Proctorville, Oh., grandchildren Liam and Luna Parsons, Jaylin Lee Hood, Jackson Riley Ramey, Bryce Jackson and Zoey Miller; nephew Jeremy Alan (Amber) Blankenship of Huntington, W.Va.; and a host of friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother A.J. Perry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Price Mills Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
