CONNIE JEAN STEELE, 56, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at home.  She was born March 26, 1964, and attended Laurel Freewill Baptist Church.  Her mother, Margie Frye preceded her in death along with one son, Ashley Ray Steele, and two brothers, Elliston Frye and Willie "Junebug" Frye III.

She leaves behind her husband, Dennie Steele; one son, Alexander (Stormy) Steele of Proctorville, Oh.; two grandsons, Bentley Wayne Napier and Axel Sawyer Steele; and one granddaughter on the way.

Also surviving is her father, Willie "Bug" Frye Jr. of Harts, W.Va.; two sisters, Diane Brumfield of Logan, W.Va., and Francis Frye of Chapmanville, W.Va.; one brother, Bruce Mitchell Frye (Donella Adkins) of Wayne; as well as nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Skeens Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
