Obituary

MRS. CUBA ROSS, 76, of Mobile, Ala., formerly of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.  She was born November 28, 1939 in Lincoln County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Willie and Anna Toppings Queen.  Her husband of 54 years, Earl G. "Pug" Ross also preceded her in death along with three brothers, Alvis Queen, Arlie Queen, and Floyd Queen.  Cuba was a homemaker and a member of Laurel Freewill Baptist Church.

She leaves behind four daughters, Diane Keesee and husband Allen of Mobile, Ala., Delana Ball and husband Randall of Kenova, W.Va., Brenda Merritt, and Sarah Wyke and husband Steve all of Mobile; 11 grandchildren, Robin Gene Wilson, Donna Jean Keesee, Dixie Louise Keesee, Kathy Napier, Timothy Earl Rose, Russell Todd Rose, Jessica Mae Carman, Ladessa Gail Swain, Renee Cuba Siegle, James Wesley Booth, and Zachary Alan Merritt; and 26 great grandchildren.

Also surviving is four brothers, Delbert Queen of Ohio, Sammy Queen of Wayne, Lindsey Queen, and Bill Queen, both of Chapmanville, W.Va.; three sisters, Jane Anderson of Ohio, Sarah LeMaster of Huntington, W.Va., and Polly Cox of Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2015 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Keesee officiating.  Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.  Friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
