Obituary

DALLAS SPAULDING, 74, of Genoa, W.Va., went away with a friend on Monday, February 29, 2016.  He was born September 7, 1941 in Wilsondale, W.Va., a son of the late Thomas and Almira Williams Spaulding.  Ten brothers and sisters also preceded him in death.  Dallas was a retired foundry worker and a member of the Dunlow Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Elizabeth Ann Johnson Spaulding; one son, Arnold Kirk of Genoa; one daughter, Augustine (Andrew) Poteete of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Robert Baulsir, Jonathon Baulsir, and Elizabeth Baulsir, all of Nashville.

Also surviving is one sister, Pearl (Frank) Williamson of Wilsondale; special nephew Ked Spaulding of Dunlow; special niece Sally Wellman of Creston, Oh.; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Dunlow Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Leroy Perry and Brother Russell Watts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery.  Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
