DANIEL GLENN ADKINS, 76, of Creston, Ohio, passed away October 18, 2016 at home.  He was born December 10, 1939 in Wayne, West Virginia a son of the late Henry and Pinkie Bradshaw Adkins.  Also preceding him in death were eight brothers and sisters: Donald Adkins, Lyda Parsons, Marie Ferguson, Virginia Ramey, Ralph Adkins, Henrietta Miller, Charles Adkins, and Mary McCormick.  Daniel was a graduate of the Robney School for the Deaf and was a retired barber. He loved fishing, yard work, and taking care of his family.  He could often be found talking to his buddies Randy and Ronnie, and had a special talent for cheating at cards and dice.

He leaves behind a host of very special nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Bowen Cemetery.  Friends may call after 12 noon on Sunday at the funeral home.
