DELTON COLLINS, 81, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  Born May 23, 1935 at Huntington, Delton was known for his generous heart and was eager to help his friends, as well as strangers.  His beloved wife, Donna Jean Collins preceded him in death along with one son, Delton Edward Collins; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Bud Chapman; one granddaughter Tiffany Adkins; one grandson, Shawn Collins; one great grandson Delton "Cody" Collins; and a very special friend O'Dell Childers.

He leaves behind, four children, Mary "Tiny" (Clyde) Pinson Mike (Betty) Collins, all of Wayne, Loretta "Nene" (Randy) Adkins of Huntington, W.Va., and Leroy (Sally) Collins, also of Wayne; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Johnny Harris officiating.  Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery.  Friends may call after 12 noon on Friday.
