DEVETTA GAY JOHNSON, 81, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 5, 2020.  She was born October 21, 1939 at Shoals, W.Va., a daughter of the late Grover and Myrtle Collins.  Also preceding her in death was he husband Ivan Jonson; brothers Arnold Collins, Delton Collins, Bobby Collins, and George Collins; and sisters Margaret Ferguson and Violet Childers.  Devetta was a faithful believer of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.  She loved the Lord but was unable to attend church these last few years.

Survivors include her son Mark Clay; grandson, Mark Clay, Jr., both of Huntington; former daughter-in-law Sandra Winkler of Proctorville, Oh.; one sister Loretta (Les) Walters who have been a tremendous help; as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews, friends, and family too numerous to mention.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Collins Family Cemetery with Brother Johnny Harris officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
