DONALD RAY ATKINS, 62, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  He was born September 3, 1955 at Huntington, W.Va. a son of the late Ray and Joan Atkins.  One brother, Rick Atkins, also preceded him in death along with one infant daughter, Lesa Atkins.  Donald worked in construction with the AFL-CIO and was a member of the Radnor Church of Christ.

Survivors include his children Toney (Jennifer) Atkins and Melissa Atkins, all of Wayne; his wife Kitty Atkins of Wayne; two brothers, Ronald Atkins of Huntington and Steve (Okle) Atkins of Radnor, W.Va.; half-sister Cheryl Hood of Wayne; half-brother Jim Atkins of Radnor; four grandchildren, Kyler Atkins, Kameron Atkins, Jaci Atkins, and Evan Miller; and nieces, nephews, friends, and family too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at the Walker Cemetery.  Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
