DOROTHY FRANCES BRUMFIELD, 78, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away at home on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, following a long illness.  She was born October 15, 1938 at Wilsondale, W.Va., a daughter of the late Frank and Easter Aldridge.  Her husband of 50 years, Theodore Brumfield also preceded her in death along with

three brothers, Fred Aldridge, Filmore Aldridge, and Willis Aldridge; and one sister, Slena Watts.

She leaves behind two sons, Noah Brumfield of Huntington, and James Brumfield of Lavalette, W.Va.; one daughter, Patricia Walker of Huntington, W.Va.; and one granddaughter, Crystal Mills, also of Huntington.

Also surviving are three sisters, Minnie (Paul) Jarrell, Brookie (Shiloh) Porter, all of Wayne, and Hazel (Everett) Stumbo of Whitesville, W.Va.; one brother, George (Versal) Aldridge of Flatwoods, Ky.; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017 at  Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Arnold Sullivan officiating.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
