EDWARD JACKSON, 65, of Ft. Gay, W.Va., went home to be with friends Tuesday, April 3, 2018.  He was born June 12, 1952 at Genoa, W.Va. a son of the late Arnold and Hazel Jackson.  His son Edward Allen Jackson also preceded him in death along with one sister, Barbara Smith, and one sister-in-law, Lucille Jackson.

He leaves behind three daughters, Kimberly Carter of Dunlow, W.Va., Barbara Jackson of Columbus, Oh., and Deanna Jackson of Indiana; one son, Shawn Carter of Wayne; and three grandchildren.

Also surviving are six sisters, Rachel Jackson (Doug Bartram) of Ft. Gay, Debra (Crit) Cassady, of Ft. Gay, Pauline (David) Perkins of Huntington, W.Va., Carolyn Jackson of Ft. Gay, Tammy Laney (James Toppins) of West Salem, Oh., and Juanita Gatchel of Wabash, Ind.; two brothers, James Jackson of Genoa, and Arlin Jackson of Huntington; and many nieces, nephews, and friends,

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Bartram Copley Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Maynard officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home. Donations to assist the family an be made by selecting the "Appeal for Donations" tab on this page.
