ELMER LEE WALKER, 72, of Genoa, W.Va., passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at his residence.  He was born August 19, 1952, in East Lynn, W.Va., a son of the late Virgil and Margie Walker.  His wife of 43 years, Emma Ruth Walker also preceded him in death along with two sisters, Lettie Walker and Gladys Pauley, and one brother Kenneth Walker.  Elmer was retired from American National Rubber and attended Hopewell United Methodist Church, Joel's Branch.

Survivors include one son, Shawn (Kelly) Walker of Wayne; four grandchildren, Trenton (Hayleigh) Walker of Lavalette, W.Va., Eli Walker, Isaiah Walker, and Emelyn Grace Walker, all of Wayne; and one great granddaughter on the way, Addison Walker.

Also surviving is a special brother-in-law, Johnny Porter of Genoa; special sister-in-law Donna Walker of Branchland, W.Va., along with several dear nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a host of friends.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jamie Hill of Joel's Branch for his care and support.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2024, at the Crabtree Cemetery with Pastor Randall Robertson officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Donations to assist the family are appreciated and can be made by selecting the "Donations" tab above..
