ELSIE MAE PERRY, 77, of Prichard, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2016.  She was born on March 21, 1939 in Wayne County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Archie and Hester Mullins Staley.  Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Glenn Staley, James Staley, and George Staley; one sister, Hazel Cathleen Brennen; infant daughter, Kathy Ann Perry; and one great grandson, Kyle Perry.  Elsie was a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church at Prichard, and Order of the Eastern Star, White's Creek Chapter.

She leaves behind one daughter, Janet Perry of Nederland, Col.; three sons, Chuck (Sheryl) Perry of Bellville, Tex., Donald "Rick" Perry of Bend, Oregon, and Jeff Perry (Deb Tomblin) of Prichard; six grandchildren, Jason (Sandra), Crystalyn, Christopher, Jeremiah, Joshua (Rachel), and Kali; and eight great grandchildren, Jaleena, Jessalyn, Jaken, Aiden, Liam, Sophia, Chase, and Hayden.

Also surviving are three brothers, Carl (Josie) Staley of New York, Ray (Barbara) Staley of South Carolina, Bill (Bonnie) Staley of Prichard; two sisters, Peg (Neil) Daley of New York, and Pearl Kohlhepp of Prichard; sister-in-law, Barbara Staley of Prichard; three very special caregivers, Deb Tomblin, Sandra Perry, and Crystalyn Perry; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Scarberry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bean Cemetery.  Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
