EMALINE PRUITT, 82, of Dayton, Oh., formerly of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away Friday, August 14, 2026, at Versailles Rehabilitation and Healthcare. She was born August 28, 1943, in East Lynn, daughter of the late Emery and Verla Perry. Her husband Bernard “Corky” Pruitt also preceded her in death along with five brothers, Gene, Carl, Francis, Norman, and Darrell Perry, and one sister, Lillian Atwood.

She is survived by three sisters, Leatha Davis of Twinsburg, Oh., Gladys Steele of Lavalette, W.Va., and Sharon (Don) West of Huntington, W.Va.; special childhood friend Deloris Eaves; and a host of family.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Garland Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay-Fraley Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m.
