EMMA RUTH WALKER, 67, of Genoa, W.Va., passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at home.  She was born July 30, 1953 at Louisa, Ky., a daughter of the late Andrew and Annalee Jackson.  Her brother Darrell Jackson also preceded her in death.  Emma was a homemaker and loved quilting and antique cars, but most of all, being around loved ones.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 43 years, Elmer Walker; one son, Shawn Andrew (Kelly) Walker of Wayne, W.Va.; and four grandchildren, Trenton Edward Walker, Eli Chase Walker, Isaiah Andrew Walker, and Emelyn Grace Walker, all of Wayne.

Also surviving are two sisters, Gladys (Johnny) Porter of Genoa, and Charlotte (Harold) Robertson of Wayne; three nephews, Jason (Stephanie) Jackson, John Eric Porter, and Scott Robertson; one niece, Andrea (Chuck) Perry; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Ferguson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Crabtree Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday.
