ERNEST MABORN COFFELT, 45, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. He was born on July 13, 1973 in Jackson, Mich. Ernie spent 16 years working as a cook at Outback Steakhouse. His mother Patricia Coffelt preceded him in death along with one sister Shawna Coffelt; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Whicker, and Stasia and Maborn Coffelt; and great niece and nephew Elaina Vergot and Michael Vergot.

He leaves behind his father Charles Coffelt of Wayne; one sister Stasia Coffelt of Jackson, Mich.; children Ashlie Taylor Burgess, Ethan, and Justin; grandchildren, Aria J. Monday, Shaylynn L. Monday, and Charlette R. Gillmore; nephews, Shawn Talbert, Peyton Talbert, and Alan Agena; niece June Vergot; great niece and nephew Maggie Inman and Braylon Agena; girlfriend Heather Evans of Huntington, W.Va.; and family and friends too numerous to mention.

A celebration of Ernie's life will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at his father's house at 411 River Street, Wayne, West Virginia.  Friends and family are invited to bring pictures, memories, and a dish to share.
