GEORGIA ANN DINGESS, 73, of Ft. Gay, W.Va., born June 1, 1946, passed away June 1, 2019. A daughter of the late Raymond and Josephine Maynard, Georgia attended Riverbend Church in Crum, WV.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Travis Dingess Sr.; one son Johnny Dingess; three sisters Nellie Watts, Margaret Maynard, Lillie Maynard; six brothers Jessie, Millard, William, Larry, Tracy and Otis Maynard; daughter-in-law Brenda Dingess; and one great granddaughter Avery Mae McCoy.

Surviving Georgia are her children Travis Dingess of Waverly, Oh., Christion L. Dingess of Piketon, Oh., and Steven Dingess of Ft. Gay; four sisters, Linda Alexander, Sally Maynard of Ft. Gay, Schredda Shupe of Huntington, W.Va. and Barbara Hickman of Jackson, Oh.; one brother Larry Maynard; six grandchildren Cassandra, Michael, Christal, Brian, Samantha, Steven, Nate; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at the Cox Cemetery with Brother Roger Watts officiating. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dingess Family.
