Loving wife and mother, HELEN LORETTA McCANN, 79, of Lavalette, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.  She was born July 15, 1936 in Huntinton, W.Va., a daughter of the late Eugene H. and Nan Osburn Adkins.  Her son, Mike McCann also preceded her in death along with one granddaughter, Stephanie McCann, and two great granddaughters, Makayla Toppings and Haily Bender.  Loretta was a homemaker and a talented pianist who played for numerous churches in our area.

She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Frank McCann; one son, Chris (Tonya) McCann of Rush, Ky.; two daughters, Marla McCann of Lavalette, and Kristi (Randy) Hornsby of Travelers Rest, S.C.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.

The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Rhonda Bradshaw for her care and compassion.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor D.L. Webb officiating.  Burial will follow in Mays Cemetery.  Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
