HUGH O'BRIEN, 58, of Dunlow, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 31, 2018.  He was born November 23, 1959 at Spencer, W.Va., a son of the late John and Freda O'Brien.  Also preceding him in death are paternal grandparents, Boyd and Icie O'Brien; maternal grandparents, Millard and Ersie Preston; brothers Glen Edward O'Brien and Britt Allen O'Brien; one sister, Teresa O'Brien Napier; and one nephew Shad Napier.

Survivors include his loving wife, Lynn O'Brien; two sons, Allen Stumbo, and Ryan Stumbo (Eulonda Perry), of Dunlow; one daughter, Jessica O'Brien of Ohio; five grandchildren Jonathon, Jacob, Alli, Joshua and special granddaughter, Adrian Grace Stumbo; as well as his special "child" Kaley Belg.

Also surviving are four sisters, Margaret Lycans, Sandy Perry, Brenda (Larry) Ferguson, Kitty (Bobby) Cassidy, all of Genoa, W.Va.; one brother, Jay O'Brien, also of Genoa; nieces, Christi (Tom) Harmon of Huntington, W.Va., Samantha (Sean) Meddings of Genoa, Kati (Trevor) Marcum of Wayne, Nicole O'Brien of Huntington, and Hester (Chad) Gilman of Dunlow; nephews Jody (Andrea) Perry of Ft. Gay, W.Va., Nick (Katie Jo) Ferguson of Huntington, and Justin O'Brien also of Huntington; great nieces and nephews, Curtis, Olivia, Whitney, Tess, Gunner, Madelyn, Ike, Easton, Preslea, Tucker, Kelsey, Ford, Alta, and Elbert; and his special O'Brien family from Spencer, West Virginia.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Travis Perry officiating.  Burial will follow at Ferguson Cemetery of Dunlow.  Visitation will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
