JAMES EDWARD DAMRON, 71, of Genoa, W.Va., departed this life for his heavenly home on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  He was born December 15, 1944 at Ferguson, W.Va., a son of the late Forest Sr. and Bertha Damron.  He was also preceded in death by three infant siblings.

James leaves behind his loving wife, Nella Damron; one daughter, Sheri Stepp; one son, Jim Allen Damron; and one grandson, Justin Perry.

Also surviving are five sisters, Edith Jervis, Ethel Thurman, Katherine Damron, Thelma Porter, and Linda Cox; three brothers, Forest Damron, Arthur Damron, and Cledith Damron; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Thompson officiating.  Burial will follow at Glen Thompson Cemetery.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
