JAMES RYAN STEPHENS, 30, of Wayne, W.Va., Passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017.  Born on September 26, 1986 in Garden City, Mich., he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Norman and Shirley Stephens; two cousins, Brittany Holmes and Raymond Holmes; and one godson, Troy Lee.

He leaves behind his mother, Kelly Whitt (John) of Wayne; one son, Marcus Tabor; one daughter Kamryn Tabor; three brothers, Douglas Stephens (Tara) of Kentucky, Josh Gable of Michigan, and Jeremy Holmes of Lavalette; a special aunt that helped raise him, Lori Holmes of Wayne; his companion, Shannon Evans; a special lifetime friend, Shane Maynard of Lavalette, W.Va.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Perry officiating.  Friends may all after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.  Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
