JESSE COPLEY, 90, of Dunlow, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2016.  He was born January 27, 1926 at Dunlow, W.Va., a son of the late Lawrence and Victoria Nelson Copley.  His son, David Lee Eslick also preceded him in death, along with one sister, Nery Jane Williamson, and five brothers, Calvin, Jay, Bill, Vernon, and Chester Copley.  A United States Army Veteran, Jesse was retired from General Motors, Detroit, Michigan, and a member of Echo United Baptist Church.

He leaves behind his wife, Jannivee Copley; three daughters, Sara (Grover) Copley of Ft. Gay, W.Va., Billie (Donald) Browning of Ft. Gay, Connie (Johnny) Hundley of Genoa, W.Va.; one son, James (Wanda) Eslick of Dunlow; and one grandson, Harold Keathley of Ohio.

Also surviving are three sisters, Loreena Martin of Ripley, Oh., Virginia (Earnest) Earl of Barboursville, W.Va., and Betty Lee (Gilbert) Maynard of Wayne; two brothers, Donald (Bonnie) Copley of Dunlow, and Milton (Hilda) Copley of Chesapeake, Oh.; and a host of friends and family.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Tommy Damron officiating.  Burial will follow in Perry Ridge Cemetery, Dunlow.  Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
