JOSEPH ELDRIDGE CROUCH, 96, of Wayne, W.Va., formerly of Westmoreland, W.Va., passed away Friday, October 16, 2026, at Wayne Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where he had resided for several years. He was born August 13, 1930, in Charleston, W.Va., a son of the late Arthur and Edith Crouch. His beloved wife, Margaret Elizabeth Crouch also preceded him in death along with his siblings, Lorraine Brumley, Arthur Crouch, and Franklin Dale ‘Pat” Crouch.

Joe was a proud patriot and loved his country. He served in the U.S. Army in the 3505th Army Air Force Base Unit. Following that, he joined the U.S. Navy and fought in the Korean War.

He leaves behind several nieces and nephews; special neighbors Danny and Pat Parsons of Huntington; special friends Neil and Theresa Anthony of Kenova, W.Va.; and his Wayne Nursing & Rehab family who loved him dearly.

He will be honored at 10 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Donel C. Kinnard State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
