JUNIOR LEE CHANEY, SR., 85, of East Lynn, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 3, 2019.  He was born March 30, 1934 at Dehue, W.Va., a son of the late Hillary and Medora Chaney.  His daughter, Paula Jane Chaney Bing, also preceded him in death along with four brothers, Curtis Chaney, Dewey Chaney, Hubert Chaney, and Darrell Chaney; one sister, Edith Chaney; and one great grandson, infant Malachi Bruce Abner. Junior was a retired welder and a member of Big Lynn Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Junior Chaney, Jr. (Jo Ann) of Gallipolis Ferry, W.Va., Bobby Chaney (Tina) of Grayson, Ky., Rose Marie Jenkins of Ironton, Oh., and Carol Isaacs (Brent) of East Lynn, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren with one on the way.  Also surviving is one brother, Norman Chaney of Lavalette, W.Va.; one sister Lillian Chaney of East Lynn; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and residents of Grayson Assisted Living for their love and friendship.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Gordon Workman officiating.  Burial will follow at the Vaughn-Mills Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
