KATHLEEN HAMMONDS, 58, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at home.  She was born June 15, 1958 in Logan County, W.Va., a daughter of the late William and Roxie Ooten Hensley.  Her brother Charley Hensley also preceded her in death along with four sisters, Fannie Bailey, Julie Ooten, Marie Murawski, and Sophie Hartsook.  Kathleen was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth Hammonds; two sons, Robert Farley of Boone County, W.Va., and Michael (Kendra) Farley of Lovely, Ky.; and six beloved grandchildren, Laylan Farley, Tiffany White, Brooklynn Farley, Curtis Farley, Shawn Mills, and Alex Adkins.

Also surviving are two brothers, William (Jerry) Hensley Jr. of Lenore, W.Va., and Peirce (Barb) Sheppard of Columbus, Oh.; one sister Melissa Knott of Frankfurt, Ky.; and many special nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Roger Ooten officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hammonds Cemetery, Inez, Ky. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
