LOIS JEAN ADKINS, 88, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.  She was born June 21, 1934 in East Lynn, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lando and Ruby Queen Gilkerson.  Also preceding her in death was one daughter, Donna K. Merritt; one sister, Eadris Clay; one brother Leonard Gilkerson; and one granddaughter, Kelli Nicole Adkins.  Lois was a member of the Wolf Pen Church of Christ in East Lynn.

Survivors include one daughter, Teresa (David) Ramey of Huntington; three sons, Chris Adkins, with whom she made her home, Brian Kelly Adkins of Huntington, and Delaine (Melissa) Adkins of Wayne, W.Va.; two grandsons, Dakota Adkins and Luke Stiltner; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

Private graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Gilkerson Cemetery with Pastor Roger Perry officiating.  Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Adkins family.
