LORENE DINGESS, 58, of Genoa, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was born May 1, 1958 in Paintsville, Ky., a daughter of the late James and Hazel Copley Stacy. Lorene was a homemaker and a member of New Beginnings Church in Ft. Gay.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Jesse Dingess; three children, Matthew (Tabatha) Dingess, Jessica (Robert) Carroll, all of Genoa, and Christina (Mickey) Burnette of Lavalette, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Nathan Marshall, Casey Marshall, Tyler Sizemore, Robbie Carroll, Dylan Burnette, David Dingess, Cassidy Carroll and Makayla (Justin) Ellison; and one great granddaughter, Madison Carroll.
Also surviving are eight brothers, Robert (Betty) Stacy of Louisa, Ky., Richard (Marie) Stacy of Crum, W.Va., Jimmy (Tes) Stacy of Zephyrhills, Fla., Alvis (Robin) Stacy, Paul (Connie) Stacy, Herman (Mary) Stacy, Jerry (Kim) Stacy, all of Crum, and Virgil (Alison) Stacy of Prestonsburg, Ky.; one sister, Christine (Smokey) Maynard of Dunlow, W.Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Albert and Sharon Dingess, Roger and Clarissa Dingess, John Dingess and Linda Little for their care and support.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the New Beginnings Church with Pastor Kenneth Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Dingess Cemetery, Hampton Ridge Road. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the church, until service time on Thursday. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dingess family.
