LUCILLE CASTEEL PRICHARD, 80, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 29, 2016.  She was born December 8, 1935 at East Lynn, W.Va., a daughter of the late Arbie and Elizabeth Mills Casteel.  Her husband Billy Joe Prichard also preceded her in death, along with one grandson, Steven Clay, a sister, Viola Frye, and brother, Archie Casteel.

Lucille was a member of the Salem United Baptist Church and served over 20 years on the Wayne Town Council.

She leaves behind her daughter, Brenda (Eugene) Clay; her son Billy Ray (Kathy) Pritchard, all of Wayne; six grandchildren, Kimberly Maxwell of Ky., Ronnie (Shelby) Staley of Wayne, Ashley Clay (Jamie Vance) of Huntington, Deanna (James) Smith, Crystal (David) Russell, all of east Lynn, and Isiah Clay of Wayne;  11 great grandchildren, Tyler Perry, Andrew Maxwell, Breanne Maxwell, Tanner Smith, Griffin Smith, Peyton Smith, Ronald Staley, Parker Staley, Dakota Russell, Whitney Russell, and Conner Russell; and one great grandchild, Bentley.

Also surviving is one brother, Arthur (Marie) Casteel of East Lynn; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lucille was deeply loved and will be missed by many.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who helped care for her, including Angie, Missy, Trish, Vickie, and Katherine.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Johnson Tiller Funeral home with Rev. A.J. Perry officiating.  Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
